Depending on the sensors fitted these can include

• Additional control of engine conditions, for instance water temperature, gearbox oil temperature etc.
• Load sensors capable of tracking the work rates of an individual machine in real time.
• RFID readers can monitor what (usually very expensive) tyres are fitted and send alarms if the tyres are removed from the vehicle.
